Mathew was commissioned from the place of toll collection. It is not that Jesus Mathew came by himself to the place of worship. Jesus ventured to the boat of fishermen, sat in that and made Peter and other disciples his own. Yes, Jesus shared the Good Word, settling down fearlessly at any place. Similarly in this digital era, we should not isolate electronic media, in public forum, avoid cinema halls, nor ignore secular channels. Living words of Jesus should be shared at all the places.

Why should we turn our backs on Gospel proclamation through Television, big screen, electronic displays, at cinema theatres, Railway stations, Bus stations and other public places and through cable TV network, and other secular TV channels? ….4

In whatever zone he is, these days, man keeps on flying in uttermost speed, to greater heights.

Bullet train, Supersonic planes, Express Money Transfer, all these have thus reached extreme speed from Express Highway up to superfast corridor. Any news reached ear to ear anywhere in the world in hundredth of a second. With the arrival of digital era world is at the fingertips.

Instead of the name of Jesus, “What an idea sirji,” “DOCOMO” are dancing on the lips of just born children, and also in the minds of young and old alike. It is Idea Star Singer, Cartoon Network, serials and sports channels that control human minds, instead of Christ. Hiding truth, hot news channels are competing with each other. Many of them are against Christ and Holy Church. Still, we Christians are not shaken. We do not want that befitting the digital era, our style of Gospel propagation should change. We are not trying to charge ahead faster to greater distance for the sake of Christ.

At whichever place we look, digital era is captivating man. It has come to pass that once upon a time, uncrowned king in photo film zone, Kodak Film Co. had to close down. Reason is nothing but ignoring the arrival of digital era. We have come to doubt, whether we are not ignoring, God-given digital scheme for our method of Gospel propagation. It has crossed the time limits for using unlimited possibilities of digital system for Jesus. Even now, are not our Gospel proclamations dragging on, like that of bullock-cart era?

If we disconnect a “Shalom” channel which has the wonderful signature of God, what else do we have to claim as our own, in this zone.

Recognizing the fact, that spiritual channels are necessary, let us ask a question to ourselves. Are not the majority of us, conveniently avoiding spiritual channels pressing our fingers continuously on the TV remote, to watch fantastic programmes on other channels?

Give your response only to the Creator.

It is there, that we still have to make our own, the Gospel propagation style of the Creator. It was from the place of toll collection, that Mathew was called. It was not that Mathew went by himself inside the place of worship. Jesus made Peter and other disciples his own, going to the boat of fishermen and sitting with them. Yes, Jesus shared the Good Word, after venturing out anywhere fearlessly.

Similarly we should also not isolate electronic media, in this digital era, on the public stages; or keep apart cinema halls; should not ignore secular channels. Living Word of Jesus should be shared, in all those places. To those who think, ‘Of what use it is, to spread the word, in all these places’ Jesus says: “My Word is like the ..5 snow and the rain that come down from the sky, to water the earth. They make the crops grow and provide seed for sowing and food to eat. So also will be the word that I speak – it will not fail to do what I plan for it; it will do everything I send it to do.” (Isaiah 55: 10-11)

Let us make a self introspection. There is one question that Jesus asks each one of us who come running and panting, from spiritual retreats to spiritual retreats, from one place of pilgrimage to another, from the feast of one saint to another, which distributes food.

What do you pray for?
You answer to the Creator only.

Is there any prayer, which comes up deep from our souls, other than our personal matters? my child, my home, my profession, my health, my life partner, my…

Can we pray, spreading out our hands like Moses for Gospel propagation through visual media? Thus folding the spread out hands, does your mind feel excited to dedicate at least the tithe, to the Creator for Gospel propagation through visual media?

Are we ready to glorify God in any field, be it Gospel propagation, or charity works, giving solely to Jesus at least a tenth of wealth such as Time, Health, Talents, given by Jesus? Are we capable of it? Do we grant this right to the Creator?

If yes, Jesus will look at us and say like he said to Abraham: Through you, all te generations of the world will be blessed; I will bless you.

If not, we may have to account for it, before the Creator.

Because, Jesus Our Lord, was the one who, without any express corridor, without any modern day comfortable environment, would impart the Good Word, just sitting on a donkey.

Our Apostles and saints are the ones, who became martyrs while taking the Good Word, to the frontiers of earth, much before the current supersonic era.

So, if we are those standing, turning our backs to Gospel propagation through visual media, due to our selfishness, fear, greed for money, remember……

We are those who splurge without any inhibition, emptying our purses, in order to augment the feasts of our saints and great feasts of Our Lord, with band music, fire works and decorative illumination.

When we keep apart our church premises, hospitals, schools and organizations from digital evangelization, remember…..

Are we not accountable for it, in front of Our Lord?

The Word says: “It’s useless to bring your offerings. I am disgusted with the smell of incense, you burn. I cannot stand your New Moon Festivals, your Sabbath and your religious gatherings; they are all corrupted by your sins. I hate your New Moon Festivals and holidays; they are a burden that I am tired of bearing. When you lift your hands in prayer, I will not look at you. No matter how much you pray, I will not listen. (Isaiah 1: 13-15)

Why are we in this digital era, not reaching out to spread the Good Word, on public platforms, through visual media?

It is sufficient that you answer only to the Lord.

Are we, each of us Christians, to stand with folded hands, as if, paralysed into inaction, watching Holy Church, priests, nuns and even Christ himself being mutilated, into exhibits of contempt, in motion pictures and serials being shown these days.

Need not pick up the sword like Peter, need not betray like Judas, not run off as other timid disciples. Instead, like John, stuck with Jesus below the cross, together with Holy Mother, like Veronica who wiped the face of Jesus with her towel on the way of cross, we are to join our hands in mobilizing souls for the sake of Christ, through visual media.

Come along with Immanuel.

Let us enlist ourselves and join our hands together with Immanuel Vision for Immanuel Vision, to present Jesus Christ live, who is our life, the sole savior of the universe in depth and volume, through visual media, courageously, with the bustling vigor of the Apostles through visual media, in this digital era, on public platforms of this world, where those who do not know Christ, congregate.

With terrific speed, proceed greater distances, clasping hands of Christ.

“If you wander off the road, to the right or the left, you will hear his voice, behind you, saying, - here is the road, follow it (Isaiah 30: 21)

I remain,
In Christ’s love,
Franco Vadakkoot.

Christmas Message

“Fear not ; for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy that shall be to all the people ; for this day is born to you a Saviour, who is Christ the Lord in the city of David” (Luke 2 : 10,11)

Happy X'mas!
Yet again, another Christmas is passing us by...
The most joyful news in this world, the birth of Jesus Christ, the true Lord,
the only redeemer of the world, is that which we experience every day.

This news should be spread to all corners of the World and to all of Mankind.
However many still do not know the good news.
Indeed, there are more people who do not know the good news, than those who do!

Who is responsible for this?

It is we, who are responsible for this failure: Although we have experienced the salvation, we are too lazy to share our experience with others.
So come, let us join together, and we can give Jesus Christ to others in the strongest way possible: through visual media. We would like to invite you in this season of Christmas and New Year to work together with us in our mission to spread the good news.
